Final Version - Double Page Spread

This is the final version of the double page spread within 51:50 (Fifty-One-Fifty) magazine:

This double page spread is a success as once again it maintains the house style of Red, Blue and Grey, but other colours are used throughout, to make certain information stand-out and highlight the importance of the page. The use of pull quotes and captions in a bold red font with a white highlight around it makes them stand out and draw the target audience into the page.
The purple shows the main information such as, the name of the artist being interviewed, the introduction to the interview and the questions to the artist. On the other hand, the red also shows importance as these show pull quotes, captions, and answers, the red represents Sean Kingston.
Colloquial language has been used throughout the interview as this will address the target audience and fit the codes and conventions of the Hip-Hop genre.
A range of images have been used showing 'Sean Kingston' in a range of locations. The one of him placed in Times Square, New York, is effective because the Hip-Hop genre was originated in America, so this also fits the codes and conventions of Hip-Hop.
Lastly a page number has been placed in the bottom right hand corner as this tells the audience which page they are on.
this magazine has been a success matching up to the codes and conventions of real life media products, everything which has been placed into this front cover have been from different elements of the research undertook to create such a powerful product.
